AHH!!! What did I just read!!! The Darkest Sunrise by Aly Martinez is absolutely incredible!!
This novel has every single thing you could ever want in a novel. It has emotional moments filled with heartbreaking words and actions. There were so many moments where I was stunned. I was in denial and disbelief, almost like what the characters were going through.
The characters are each so unique and authentic, that I truly felt as though I could connect with them on a deeper level more than just a reader experiencing a character. With everything they have been through within their lives, I felt a sense of desire to have them be happy.
If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would. I cannot praise this book enough. Aly Martinez has written a novel out of this world!
