Review:
What a great novel from LJ Harris!!
Angus and Daniel are two characters who you can't help but love. They are both unique in their own way, however, at certain times, they are so similar. Their relationship is strong, however, the bond they share, makes it that much stronger.
This is the first book I have read by this author, however, after reading The Haunting of Angus Macgregor, it definitely won't be the last.
I urge everyone to go pick up this novel if they are in the mood for some M/M, paranormal romance! You won't be disappointed.

Author Interview:
1) For those you don't know you, would you mind
telling us a bit about yourself
I’m a mother of twins (who have grown into
wonderful young men) and been married for 22 years. I live in a place where
politicians roam free, and where it’s freezing in winter and hot as heck in
summer.

Who or
what inspired you to start writing?
I mostly wrote poetry for family and friends,
but when my father fell ill around six years ago, and the prognosis was far
from good, I spent one night writing out my feelings. By morning, I’d purged
several pages onto the screen. My
husband read my ramblings, and urged me to write some more. Not long after, I
started working on my first novel (there are well over 100,000 words still
sitting on my hard drive – yet to be complete), and I’ve been writing ever
since.

Who are a
few of your favourite authors?
Oh boy, where
do I start? As I read both M/M and M/F romance, the list is long but among them
are N.R. Walker, Max Vos, R.E. Hargrave, Jay Northcote, M.B. Feeney, K.C.
Wells, Parker Williams, Louisa Mae, Nicole Colville, Jex Lane… I could go on!!

What was
the hardest thing about writing The Haunting of Angus Macgregor?
Getting the
Scotspeak as correct as possible while still making sure that readers could
understand what was being said. I ended up consulting with a Scottish friend
who gave me a great deal of help, and combined English and Scottish along with
a tiny bit of Gaelic.

What is
your upcoming novel going to be about?
My next novel
will be part of a series, the first titled His Personal Assistant.

studied at the want-ad. Salary wasn’t mentioned, but when I noticed the job
included a health plan, I knew I’d have to at least consider going for it.
“Sure
do. You might not have any experience working in an actual office, but if you
tell them you’re interested in becoming a lawyer someday, they might think
about hiring you for that reason alone.”
“Huh.” I scratched
my chin and contemplated her statement, but found I was unable to find a single
flaw in her logic. If I was going to be stuck in an office all day, working for
a bunch of lawyers might just make it bearable, considering law would have been
my career of choice if things were different.
“Oh,
go on, Kade, do it. What have you got to lose?” Becca pulled out her phone and
handed it to me before she stood and headed for the kitchen.
Taking a deep
breath, I dialed the number and listened to it ring several times. I was about
to end the call when someone decided to pick up.
“What?” Startled by the abrupt tone of a
male voice, I pulled the phone away and stared at the number I’d just called,
then checked it matched the one in the paper. It did.
“Um, oh, I was
calling about the job with Preston Law and Associates?”
“Name?”
“Huh?”
“It’s a
simple question, or is English your second language? What. Is. Your. Name?”
The man sounded exasperated, and I wasn’t far behind him.
“Oh.
It’s Kade. Kade Hutchins.”
“And where are you?”
“I’m
at The Corner Cafe on—”
“I know where that is,” he snapped. “I’m two blocks away. I can meet with you in
fifteen minutes.”
I made a mental
note of what I was wearing. My oldest pair of faded jeans and Van Halen t-shirt
weren’t going to cut it.
“Oh, but I... I’m
not dressed for... and I don’t have a copy of my—”
“I don’t care if you’re hogtied to your bed wearing nothing
but a smile. Be here in fifteen minutes, Mr. Hutchins, or you can kiss the job
goodbye.”
