I have mixed emotions about this book. At first, I was captivated by it and wanted to keep reading. I knew right from the synopsis that this was going to be an emotional rollercoaster.
Shay has an adoring husband who loves her with everything he has. Together, they have everything anyone could ever want. A successful job, a beautiful house and a loving spouse. However, nothing that good can last forever.
This was an incredibly quick read, which I knew it would be going in considering they are all serials. I felt at times the plot line was very rushed and sometimes cut short. At times I feel a scene would be sightly out of place and could have worked better in a different location within the book. I would have liked to see the story become more developed. Some scenes could have used expansion and more detail added in.
