About Drawn Through You:

Drawn Through You_cover

What if the brooding billionaire wore pencil skirts and Louboutins? What if the impressionable intern was a small-town furniture maker with boyish charm? Cole Jacobson always thought he would take after his father and pursue his dreams. But when the family business falters and he’s forced to accept his uncle’s help, Cole is summoned to the big city for a job he never wanted. Priorities become obscured when Cole finds himself working for Shaun Wright, the strong, intimidating, and ruthlessly attractive business partner at his uncle’s contracting firm. Forced to either sacrifice his hard-won integrity or leave behind the one thing that brings him true happiness, Cole must make a decision that could cost him both. A decision only complicated by the sexy, inscrutable woman he can’t stop thinking about. A woman who just might be as intrigued as he is to cross professional boundaries. A provocative, trope-twisting romance, Sarina Rhoads’s Drawn Through You finally puts the heroine on the other side of the desk.

Review:
I loved this book!! Cole and Shaun had incredible chemistry that was undeniable. Their tension oozed off the pages and made me want to be in their places. The plot line had me intrigued from the very beginning all the way through to the end. This is a book that I will definitely be rereading again in the future.
I highly recommend reading this novel!
4.5 Stars!!!

  Exclusive Excerpt:
They stepped onto the elevator, just the two of them, but she pressed twelve instead of six. Were they back at square one, where she retreated to her office in the sky instead of dealing with her feelings head on? Too bad for her, Cole thought to himself. There was too much at stake for him. More than she could even fathom. He needed to make a decision about his uncle’s ultimatum, and the clock was running out. The fate of his father’s business still hung in the balance, dependent upon his next move. Shaun’d basically said she was done with Olivia, and the way she had stared at him when she didn’t think he’d notice had set his body ablaze. Frustrated, rejected, and somewhat inebriated, Cole slammed his fist against the emergency stop button and the car jerked to a halt. “What the–?” Shaun exclaimed as the scream of the buzzer bounced around the four walls. Cole stepped toward her while she inched back. “Are you drunk?” He attempted to shake off the beer fog slowly swallowing his brain whole. “Maybe.” He would let Shaun make up his mind. If she turned him down right here, right now, then he’d be free and clear. He’d report back to Robert that she wasn’t interested and that he’d need to employ another stud-for-hire. But what if she didn’t? Cole thought as he ceased his forward progression. Not an inch of space remained between them. He searched her eyes, ears honed in on her rapid breathing, which he could hear even over the thundering of his own pulse and the buzzing of the elevator. “In the stairwell, you saw me, didn’t you? You saw me before I dropped my file, and you liked it.” He didn’t know where the sudden surge of courage had come from. The beer? The shitty position his uncle had cornered him into? Shaun continued to stare in silence. “So is it just women for you now, Shaun? Is that why you can’t address the idea of going out with me?” “I… We…” She flattened her palms against his chest, but didn’t push him away. A sign to keep going? He half wondered if she could feel the thump of his heart against his ribcage or the spike in his body temperature. She was so beautiful this close. He’d failed to notice the light dusting of freckles across the bridge of her nose or the tiny scar above her left eyebrow until now. The scent of her perfume acted as a hallucinogen when mixed with the glorious vision before him. He leaned down, mouth almost brushing over hers. “Shaun,” he breathed. With a second jerk, the elevator started moving again. Cole glanced down, finding Shaun’s finger on the emergency button. Her action was answer enough. He backed away to the opposite side of the car and poked at the button for six. When the car stopped, he glanced over his shoulder at her. She hadn’t moved. Didn’t that make him feel even more like an asshole. “Don’t worry, Ms. Wright. It’s just business between you and me from now on. I promise.” He stepped out, leaving Shaun to continue her ascent to the twelfth floor alone. He was tired of looking like a world-class idiot, hard up on his boss and her mind-scrambling skirts. He’d really thought something had passed between them at lunch, but no. Maybe the pressure from his uncle was starting to fuck with his brain. “Mr. Jacobson.” Cole stopped and turned around. Shaun stood just outside of the elevator, one arm stretched out to keep the doors from closing. Her expression gave nothing away, but he could see her swallow, as if she were preparing herself for something. She cleared her throat and proceeded in a voice that lacked the confidence he’d come to associate with her. “I’m not sure that will be enough.” Without another word, she stepped back into the elevator and disappeared.

Title: Sudden Desires
Series: Sweet Promises #1
Author: Shanora Williams
Genre: Romantic Erotica / Erotic Suspense/ Romantic Suspense
Published: October 30, 2015
Screw the ring.
The good life.
My selfish wife.
I have felt abandoned by her for years. Forgotten.
Belittled.
Neglected.
Unloved....
But, all of that has changed.
I've met an incredible woman. I didn't mean for anything to happen with her. We were only supposed to be doing business together. But that sassy mouth, fine ass, and those perky tits got to me. It was a spur of the moment thing - both of us blinded by lust.
Is it bad to crave a woman so badly that you'll do practically anything to hold onto her? Like make sweet promises that you know damn well can't be kept?
Don't be fooled. This newfound "happiness" may only be a fucking façade, and what's worse is that I can't let it go.
Not now.
Probably not ever.
Why? Because there is only so much rejection a man can take before he finally just... gives into temptation.
“Omg! And I had thought Tainted Black had wrecked me!! I loved this book. I loved the characters, the unique plot and the sizzling romance.” ~ Lina’s Review Book Blog
“Uh .. OMGAWD .. okay I can’t say much but you need to read this book. What a mind freak. I love Shaora’s books and was giddy to see the ARC for this one on my Kindle.”~ Ramblings from Beneath the Sheets
“This book is seriously full of (DIRTY) secrets, hidden desires, betrayal, drama, forgotten vows, mistrusts, passion, love affairs, angst, jealousy, LUST-sparks, temptation, angst, hatred, deceit, determination, self-conceited persona's, promises, sleazy businessmen, an alpha male, a bitchy resentful wife, a sexy 'mistress' and a best friend who doesn't deserve the title. Gah, so much twists and turns!”~ AdequateBookWhore
All I want is the best for Colette. All I want is for her to be happy. We were happy once. Why can’t we go back to that?

My forehead drops on the marble wall of the shower. Water streams through my hair, down my chest and back. My face feels smothered with warmth, but it feels good.

With my eyes squeezed tight, I try and imagine Colette and all her naked glory. The woman has a banging body. I imagine those perky pink nipples, her face when I finally get to ramming my cock deep inside her. Only… it doesn’t work this time.

As I pump I can’t feel myself getting hard enough because all I can hear are her negative words. All I can think of is how we truly are failing as a couple. All I can think about it the reason why… Angelina.

Blue eyes appear in my imagination, and I stroke harder. My cock hardens in my hands, the veins bulging as I imagine those aqua irises looking up at me while sucking me dry. Lapping her tongue around my balls, flicking it across my tip. I shudder as I start to reach the brink. My body locks, palm against the wall, and all I can hear is her calling me Mr. Boyd in that sweet little voice.

She wanted my cock so bad she could taste it, and I wanted a mouthful of her pussy so much I was almost willing to completely demolish my marriage to make that happen.

“Fuck,” I bite out, stroking faster, harder, until finally I explode in my hand, squirting all over the fucking shower wall. “Goddamn,” I groan, pressing the side of my face on the marble. God, it’s been so long since I’ve cum. So fucking long. I pant, breathing raggedly as I keep my eyes shut, still rubbing the head of my cock, releasing every drop of cum.

I can’t believe myself, but it’s the pure imagination of Angelina who has just made me cum.

It’s her with her lips wrapped around the head of my cock, telling me to relax and to just enjoy the feel. The feel of her, right before she comes up to sit on top of my lap, allowing me to sink deep inside what I know is an eager, wet pussy.

Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed this read. I have read books by Jennifer Probst in the past, and this book is completely different from them. When I first started this book, it wasn't what I was initially expecting. I thought that it would be more along the lines of Jennifer's other books. With that being said, I still really liked it. It is a short, quick read with some steamy scenes. I would have liked slightly more plot and character development; however, since this is a novella that is a little harder to do.

During welcome week at Hillson University, the FROSH will hit the fan.

Type-A aspiring journalist Ellie plans to take freshman year by storm. But hell-bent on breaking a huge on-campus scandal, she risks becoming one herself—and getting the mysterious, heart-melting QB in serious trouble.

Grant, star quarterback and charismatic chick-magnet, is hiding a life-altering secret. The last thing he needs is an overeager (absolutely adorable) journalist asking questions. He’s got a reputation to protect.

High-society legacy student Devon is ready to catch the football hottie of her dreams. If the tabloids feature her with the “it” boy on her arm, her tainted past will be buried—or so she thinks.

Charlie, pre-med, is done being the sweet and funny geek that girls like Devon ignore. But if he tries to impress her with a new edgy, spontaneous attitude, will his heart end up in the emergency room?

FROSH intertwines the stories of Ellie, Grant, Devon, and Charlie in Mónica B. Wagner’s sexy NA debut series, about falling in love and falling apart.

Review:
Frosh #1: First Blush

This book is so much fun. I had an incredible time reading and reviewing this book.
Monica Wagner is a very relatable protagonist. At first, I wasn’t a huge fan of her; however, as the book progressed, I began to love her. Throughout there are two male leads. They are each incredibly different and yet, I found myself loving each of them.
Another think I really enjoyed about the book is the sex scenes. Some of them were hot and sexy, while others were awkward and sweet. The thing about these scenes is that they are realistic. They are some that could potentially happen in real life.
This book captured the emotions of heartache and pain. Some of the scenes were happy and had me smiling while others made me upset and had me sad.

“Someone’s dogging ya,” Kidd says as he nods behind me. I can hear my name being called, but I don’t want to look because he’s likely up to something. The fact that my name is being called means nothing, since the kids are always trying to get us to sign things, give them a bat during the game or even look at them. It was a thrill when it happened to me so I know what it’s like to get attention from your favorite player, let alone any player. “Just a fan, I’m assuming,” I say, shrugging him off and focusing on Mackenzie’s at bat. He shakes his head and starts laughing. “A super fan,” he says, nodding behind me again. “You might want to turn around.” “You might want to pay attention to the game. Mackenzie could hit a foul ball and smack you in the tallywacker.” “Jesus Davenport, just turn the hell around.” I roll my eyes and finally give in, but only halfheartedly. I look over my left shoulder and see no one calling me and over my right to find the same thing. “Don’t know what you’re talking about.” Kidd swings the bat a few times before he stops because Mackenzie has a hit and is now on first base. “Turn all the way around, Davenport. Stop being a bitch.” I do as he says and I’m met with a pair of green eyes that I have burnt into my memory. She’s sitting behind our dugout in the center seat. She stands and points to her shirt. The front of it says, “I’m sorry”. I can’t help the stupid ass grin that is plastered all over my face. I lean forward, resting my hands on the edge of the dugout. “Are you busy after the game?” “No,” Daisy says with a smile. “You are now,” I say, not caring that I’m probably jumping the gun and assuming she wants to see me. It’s not a guess; I know she does. “Stay right there and I’ll come get you when the game is over.” Before I know it, we’re on the Jumbo Tron with hearts all around our picture. She covers her face and I turn back to the game, only to turn around and wave my hat at the section she’s in. They roar with cheers and start chanting my name. We win, nine to one. I had a few more base hits and some RBI’s to add to our run count. Every Renegade player had at least one base hit. It’s odd when that happens, but we take it and run with it when it does. As soon as I enter the clubhouse the reporters are there. They call my name and instead of going to them, they come over to me and shove their microphones into my face as soon as I sit down. “Ethan, you made a pretty big display of affection today during the game. Do you care to tell us about your girlfriend?” “Yeah, sure,” I say, running my hand through my hair. “I’ve been in love with her for as long as I can remember. She means everything to me.” Suddenly their microphones are even more in my face. “What’s her name?” “Baseball!” I wish I had a camera at this exact moment so I can capture their expressions as they all deadpan at my answer. They’re stupid if they think I’m going to say anything about Daisy. We have a long road ahead of us and the last thing we need is the media hounding us. I do enough stupid shit that brings us plenty of attention. We don’t need any more. The reporters don’t like me much after that answer, not that I can blame them. Kidd punches me in the shoulder and winks at me. Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00074]

People are not who they seem.

Not even Cain’s dad or Calla’s parents are who they say they are. When Calla shows up begging for a divorce. He shows her exactly who he is and no way in hell will he sign those papers.

What happens when six years later she returns? The only woman he has loved. A woman who has changed herself! When all the lies surface will she be able to forgive everyone she has trusted in her life or will Calla turn to the man who destroyed her?

Excerpt
My brain finally catches up with the fact I’m naked in front of Cain for the first time in six years. I sit up in a rush of water and bring my knees to my chest, resting my chin on top of them.
“You... you shouldn’t be in here.”
“You wouldn’t answer me,” he says exasperatedly.
“Well, no shit. My head was underwater. That still doesn’t give you the right to just walk in here.”
“When you don’t answer me when I’m standing right outside of a wide open door, not to mention the fact this is my house... well, then I think I have every fucking right. Don’t you?”
“No, I don’t. You could have just peeked in and seen I was fine and waited. Was this some kind of ploy for you to get me right where you wanted me? Are you so afraid that the minute you turn your back on me I will up and try to leave? Are you going to watch my every move? Or did you have an ulterior motive in suggesting I shower, just so I could strip down naked and you could make damn sure I didn’t go anywhere? So tell me what the hell it is, because this back and forth, hot and cold game you’ve started is really starting to piss me the hell off!”
I glare up at him, not quite able to read his eyes.
What I do know is that the sexual tension between the two of us is so strong, it’s working triple overtime. There’s only one tiny little obstacle in our way... and that would be our past. The fact that I can’t trust him. He broke every bit of it the same day he broke my heart. One of us needs to give in, take charge so we can just fuck and move on.

Author: Jessica Prince
Genre: Contemporary, Romantic Comedy

People say that sometimes the line between love and hate is thin. What they don’t tell you is that sometimes it’s invisible.

Women serve only one purpose as far as he’s concerned, and relationships are nothing but a waste of time and energy. When the mouthy little blonde, Navie Collins, is hired as his personal assistant, he finds his world turned upside down. And against his better judgment, he can’t seem to stop thinking about her.
Navie Collins has spent years convinced she’s not good enough, that no one could possibly want her. Growing up the way she did helped to thicken her skin, so when she walks into a job interview and meets the temperamental, foul-mouthed, best-selling author Rowan Locklaine, she’s all too happy to put him in his place.
Rowan and Navie are convinced they hate each other. But as time passes and the attraction between them begins to grow, these two stubborn, strong-willed people have a life changing decision to make. It was official.
hated my job.
By the time the subway pulled into the station closest to my house, I was a sweaty, disgusting mess. My hair had fallen out of its artfully styled chignon. My feet had blisters the size of pancakes from traipsing all around the city in the sweltering summer heat. Harlow’s pretty blouse had a coffee stain across the right boob where I’d tripped and spilled Rowan’s coffee down the front of myself—meaning I had to go back and wait in the long ass line at The Bean a second time. And I was pretty sure a panhandler shoved his hand up my skirt on the subway ride home. The whipped, puss-y topping on the shit sundae that was my day were the million and one text messages I received from Rowan needing me to run yet another errand.
None of those messages were of him asking. Oh, no, they were rude and demanding in nature, and I had to stop myself on multiple occasions from hurling my beloved iPhone into oncoming traffic.
By the time I made it back to his apartment with all his requested items, the coffee had long since grown cold, mimicking his icy attitude.
As I limped up the steps to mine and Harlow’s apartment, I kept thinking of all the reasons I wanted to quit, following closely with all the reasons I couldn’t, i.e. my rent and other such necessities.
“Hello, pumpkin. How was your first day?” Harlow asked in an all too chipper voice once I came through the front door.
“I hate my boss!” I yelled like a crazy person before collapsing to the floor and spreading out on the cool, laminate wood, basking in the feel of it against my overly heated skin.
“What the hell? What happened?” Harlow asked as she took a seat on the floor next to me, brushing my sweat-slicked hair back from my face.
“You mean other than working for a twat-waffle who’s the love child of Satan and that ‘Mommy Dearest’ lady?”
“You mean Joan Crawford?”
“That’s the one.”
“Was he really that bad?”
“Remember that asshole William Chandler from sophomore year?”
Her face scrunched up as she tried to recall who I was talking about. “You mean that dickhead football player, who used to bark at all the girls he thought were ugly?”
“Yep.”
“Oh, shit. That bad?”
“Multiply that times a million and you’ll have Rowan Locklaine.”
Harlow’s gaze grew sympathetic. “Aww, sweetie, I’m so sorry.”
“And if that wasn’t bad enough, I’m pretty sure I lost my no-no hole virginity to a hobo on the subway.”
I was being completely serious. So when Harlow let out an indelicate snort and collapsed in a heap of hysterical laughter next to me, I couldn’t find it in me to share with her in the humor of the situation.
“I’m glad you find my pain so hilarious,” I deadpanned from my spread-eagle position on the floor of our entryway.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” she sputtered, tears trailing down her face. “I know it’s not supposed to be funny, but you should see your face right now!”
I was just about to respond with something brilliantly snarky when my cell phone rang from inside my purse. With a groan of pain, I twisted sideways and retrieved it before going back to my original position.
“Shit,” I muttered as I looked at the screen.
“Who is it? Is it him?”
“No, it’s Lauren. Probably calling to tell me I’ve been fired.”
Harlow whacked me on the shoulder, eliciting a pout from me. “Stop being so negative. Answer the phone and I’ll go pour you a glass of wine.”
“In the big glass?” I asked hopefully, referring to the wineglass-shaped vase we found on clearance a year or so ago. It was what we considered our ’emergency glass’.
“Yes, in the big glass, you big baby. Now, answer the damn phone already.”
